The coast is a starting point. Follow the town’s stone lanes, then look inland towards Ledenice and the ridges of Vinodol. This is a stay built around movement, with room for a long lunch.
A suggested two-night escape
Arrive for an old-town evening. On your full day, choose a marked walk from the Tourist Board’s route guide or arrange a local guide through Strilež. Add Ledenice only if terrain and conditions suit your group. On departure morning, walk the waterfront before coffee.
Make it work for your dates.
Bring walking shoes, layers and water. The route network includes coastal walks and more demanding mountain terrain: check the specific route, forecast and return transport. If weather closes the hills, make the day about the museum, old town and a reserved tasting instead.
