Some places are discovered.
Others are brought back to life.

Pavlomir’s modern story begins in 1994, when winegrowers displaced from Vukovar arrived in Vinodol. Led by Andrija Biro and Miroslav Palinkaš, they brought their knowledge of the vine to a valley with a long wine-growing memory.

For the Palinkaš family, that knowledge also reaches back to Šarengrad in eastern Croatia. Here, near Novi Vinodolski, it found a new landscape — and a new beginning.

Žlahtina, the region’s native white grape, is central to that story. Today, the vineyard, cellar and tasting room offer three ways to understand the same place: walk into its landscape, discover its wines and take time at the table.
